What this policy covers<\/h2>\n\n<p>This policy applies to visitors of our websites. It does not cover information you give us during a paid project engagement, which is governed by the contract for that project, or information you share with third-party platforms such as WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram or LinkedIn, which is governed by their own policies.<\/p>\n\n<h2>3. Information you give us directly<\/h2>\n\n<p>We collect this only when you choose to send it:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Enquiry details<\/strong> \u2014 your name, phone number, email address, city, and anything you tell us about your room or project when you contact us by WhatsApp, phone, email or a form on the site.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Floor plans and drawings<\/strong> \u2014 architectural plans, dimensions, photographs or measurement files you send us for review.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Newsletter or contribution details<\/strong> \u2014 your email address, and any name or payment information you provide if you subscribe or contribute through Google Reader Revenue Manager (see Section 5).<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Comments<\/strong> \u2014 if commenting is enabled, the name, email address and comment text you submit, plus your IP address and browser user agent, which WordPress records for spam filtering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>You are not required to give us any of this to read the site. Enquiry information is used to answer you and to assess whether a project is a fit. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with other integrators.<\/p>\n\n<h2>4. Information collected automatically<\/h2>\n\n<p>Like most websites, ours records technical information when you visit: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, and similar analytics data. This is collected through cookies and comparable technologies.<\/p>\n\n<h3>4.1 Analytics and site management<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager<\/strong> \u2014 measures which articles are read, for how long, and from where. Used in aggregate to decide what to publish next.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Google Site Kit and Google Search Console<\/strong> \u2014 connects the site to Google&#8217;s search and analytics reporting.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Hosting and caching<\/strong> \u2014 our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>4.2 Advertising and audience tools<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Google Ads<\/strong> \u2014 conversion measurement and remarketing.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Meta Pixel<\/strong> \u2014 measures visits arriving from Facebook and Instagram and may be used to show you our content on those platforms.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>LinkedIn Insight Tag<\/strong> \u2014 measures visits arriving from LinkedIn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>4.3 Messaging<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>WhatsApp widget<\/strong> \u2014 clicking it opens a conversation in WhatsApp. Your phone number and message become visible to us, and the conversation is handled under WhatsApp&#8217;s own privacy terms. A third-party widget provider assists us in managing these conversations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>4.4 Store functions<\/h3>\n\n<p>Where store functionality is enabled, WooCommerce sets cookies to remember cart contents and session state. These are functional cookies and expire when the session ends or shortly after.<\/p>\n\n<h3>4.5 Managing cookies<\/h3>\n\n<p>You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not stop you reading anything on the site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google&#8217;s browser add-on, and adjust Google ad personalisation in your Google account settings.<\/p>\n\n<h2>5. Reader Revenue Manager, contributions and subscriptions<\/h2>\n\n<p>We use Google Reader Revenue Manager to offer newsletter sign-up and, where available, reader contributions or subscriptions.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>If you sign up or contribute, Google collects and processes your account and payment details directly.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>We never see or store your full card or bank details.<\/strong> Payment processing is handled by Google and its payment partners.<\/li>\n  <li>We may receive your email address and a record of your subscription or contribution status so we can deliver what you signed up for and answer support questions.<\/li>\n  <li>Your use of Google&#8217;s payment and account services is also governed by Google&#8217;s own terms and privacy policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>6. Why we use your information<\/h2>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>To answer your enquiry and assess whether we can help with your project.<\/li>\n  <li>To review floor plans and give you a technical opinion when you ask for one.<\/li>\n  <li>To send you content you asked to receive, and to stop sending it when you ask us to.<\/li>\n  <li>To understand which articles are useful, so we publish better ones.<\/li>\n  <li>To keep the site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and diagnose faults.<\/li>\n  <li>To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Where the law requires a lawful basis, we rely on your consent for marketing and non-essential cookies, on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request for enquiries and projects, on our legitimate interests for site security and aggregate analytics, and on legal obligation where applicable.<\/p>\n\n<h2>7. Who we share it with<\/h2>\n\n<p>We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Service providers<\/strong> who operate parts of the site on our behalf \u2014 hosting, analytics, email delivery, messaging widgets and payment processing \u2014 and only to the extent needed to provide that service.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Suppliers and manufacturers<\/strong>, where you have asked us to arrange something specific on your behalf and we tell you first.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Authorities<\/strong>, where we are required to by law, court order or a valid legal request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>8. Transfers outside India<\/h2>\n\n<p>Some of the services above \u2014 including Google, Meta and LinkedIn \u2014 process data on servers located outside India. Where this happens, the transfer is made under the safeguards those providers publish for international transfers. If you would rather your data was not processed by these services, block their cookies before browsing.<\/p>\n\n<h2>9. How long we keep it<\/h2>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Enquiries and floor plans<\/strong> \u2014 kept while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return. Deleted on request.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Project records<\/strong> \u2014 retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Newsletter data<\/strong> \u2014 kept until you unsubscribe.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Analytics data<\/strong> \u2014 retained according to the retention setting of the analytics provider.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>10.
